How to make your lipstick last longer

1. Prepare your Lips :

Exfoliate :
Gently exfoliate your lips with a lip scrub or a soft tooth brush to remove any dry flaky skin.

Moisturise :
Apply a hydrating lip balm to keep your lips smooth and hydrated. Let it absorb for a few minutes then blot off any excess.

2. Apply Lip Liner :

Choose the right shade :
Select a lip liner that matches your natural lip color or the shade of your lipstick.

Outline the Lips :
Carefully outline your lips starting from the center of your upper lip and following the natural shape of your lips.

Fill in your Lips :
Use the lip liner to fill in your entire lips. This creates a base for your lipstick to adhere to and helps prevent feathering and fading.

3. Apply Lipstick :

First Layer :
Apply your lipstick over the lip liner. For even application use a lip brush.

Blot and Set :

Blot your lips with a tissue to remove any excess product. Then if desired or need you can dust over your lips some translucent powder to further set the color.

Second Layer :
Apply a second layer of lipstick to enhance the color intensity and longevity.

4. Additional Tips :

Use a Lip Primer :

For extra staying power consider using a lip primer before applying lip liner and lipstick.

Avoid Oily Foods :

Oily foods can break down lipstick so try to avoid them if you want your lipstick to last longer.

Touch Ups :

Keep your lipliner and lipstick handy for quick touch-ups throughout the day.
Following these steps can give you beautifully defined and long lasting lip color. Lip liner not only enhances the longevity of your lipstick but also helps create a polished and perfected look.
