Supporting Winter Citrus & Ginger Collagen Tea

Supporting Winter Citrus & Ginger Collagen Tea

A warm infusion that blends citrus, ginger, and honey — all gentle allies for skin vitality. It’s not a miracle potion; it’s a ritual. A moment of warmth that supports your body’s natural processes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup hot water
  • Juice of ½ fresh lemon (rich in vitamin C)
  • 1–2 slices of fresh orange or blood orange
  • 3–4 thin slices of fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
  • Optional: a pinch of cinnamon or turmeric
  • Optional: a scoop of neutral collagen peptides if you personally use them (not required)

Why these ingredients help

  • Vitamin C (lemon & orange) supports the body’s natural collagen formation.
  • Ginger brings warmth and antioxidants.
  • Honey soothes and adds a comforting sweetness.
  • Cinnamon or turmeric offer additional antioxidant support.

These ingredients don’t “add” collagen — they simply help the body do what it already knows how to do.

How to Prepare

  1. Warm your water until just below boiling.
  2. Add the ginger slices and let them steep for 3–5 minutes.
  3. Squeeze in the lemon juice and add the orange slices.
  4. Stir in the honey until it melts.
  5. Add your optional spices or collagen powder if you choose.
  6. Sip slowly, ideally in a quiet moment.

A Gentle Note

This recipe is not a treatment — it’s a ritual of care. A way to nourish your body with warmth, colour, and intention during the winter months. Collagen thrives when we do: when we rest, hydrate, eat well, and treat ourselves with kindness.
